  • PEPPER Update (Duration 49:05): This session reviews changes in the Q1FY16 release of the ST PEPPER with a special focus on the first quarter of statistics reflecting ICD-10 data. Also included is a review of the resources available on the “Data” page (national- and state-level reports, National High Outlier Ranking distribution, peer group graphs).

PEPPER Training, May 2014:

  • Short-term Hospitals PEPPER Training Session 1 (Duration 46:33): This session reviews the history and basics of PEPPER, explains percents and percentiles, discusses the MAC jurisdiction, and reviews the PEPPER target areas and reports as of the Q1FY14 release.
  • Short-term Hospitals PEPPER Training Session 2 (Duration 38:48): (Updated December 2015)This session provides a demonstration of the ST PEPPER version Q3FY15, including a review and discussion of the reports and statistics reported. A new target area “Defibrillator Implants” is reviewed, as are changes to the graphical display of the hospital’s target area percent and hyperlinks to improve navigation within the report.
  • Short-term Hospitals PEPPER Training Session 3 (Duration 23:29): This session explains how to prioritize PEPPER findings, how to access PEPPER, and how to access support and resources related to PEPPER.
